Topick: Metabolic response to critical illness.

Prof.G sangat well experience dalam bab Critical Care. In fact, she is a professor at UMMC. Cara mengajar sangat lah terbuka dan encourage discussion (since this is master level, memang la harus banyak perbincangan)...

Lame dah tak masuk ward ICU.. Almost 2 years kot. So banyak yang dah terlupa.. But, ingatan yang masih jelas ialah, mostly patient at ICU ventilated. Hehe.. Banyak input yang dikongsikan oleh Prof.G.. Antaranya:

1. Hypocaloric feeding.
2. Dietary assessment (too common kan? tapi ini bukan sembarangan assessment okeh!).
3. Mechanism of metabolism (at molecular level).
4. Rational behind the intervention.
5. Etc.

Ilmu tu luas. Teruskan mencari ilmu. Prof.G sempat jugak berkongsi tips..
